Dr Neil Lutton is originally from Ireland but moved to the UK in 1997 to study at England’s foremost dental school, where he qualified in 2002. Since then he has been working in London’s prestigious West End, performing many cosmetic treatments, including smile makeovers.
Q1: Why do I need to have X-Rays taken? A1: X-rays allow the dentist to detect problems in areas not visible during visual examination, for example a cavity under an existing filling. If you don’t have x-rays you have only had 50% of your tooth surface checked. We recommend routine screening Bite wings every 2 years and large OPG’s every 5 years.
